A lack of history work- Paddy
I only had one lesson today at college, modern history, from 9-10.30am. This meant I had a large portion of my day empty. I compiled a list of things I needed to achieve in the afternoon thusly: physics homework, politics homework, renew a book from the library, gather some forms for my driving test, book some university open days, request some university prospectuses (prospecti?), read a very dull book on the conservative party, history homework and blog. As of now I've done all but two of these Herculean tasks, obviously I haven't finished my blog yet, and I am yet to do history. Why haven't I done history? I got distracted. What distracted me? Wimbledon. More specifically Rafael Nadal's opening game against an American I'd never heard of. Needless to say Nadal's cruised past his opponent like an ocean liner, winning in straight sets 6-4, 6-2, 6-2. For those of you not up to speed, I just thought I'd clarify this is tennis I am talking about, just so we are all on the same sport based page. Only a few more lines to go until this text box is filled and I can deem this blog a worthy length. I am going to cheat and quadruple space my words to fill it quicker. And done! I'll see you (metaphorically) on Wednesday or whenever you get round to reading it, I'm not trying to rush you! <- gratuitous exclamation mark.
