Big Games - Paddy

Tonight me and Alex have a football (soccer) match for us too play. It is, as they say in the business, a big game. The rival team to the Hufflepuff Young Boys (that's our team) are only one place and one point above us in the league. I'm sure you can all work out why that makes it such a tense and exciting occasion. We are even going to have fans. People there just to watch us play! It's all very exciting and as a sidenote builds up to the previously mentioned climax of the personal competition with Alex for top scorer. I'm going to leave this blog here and finish it after the game either happily or sadly depending on the result. Be back in an hour and a half or however long it takes you to scroll down to my next paragraph.

Well I'm back and the news is either good, bad, indifferent or uninteresting, depending on how you wanted us to do, or if you didn't ever give a flip. Anyway, the score was 2-2, a rather unimpressive draw. The personal battle between me and Alex seems to be all but over as I scored both tonight, putting me 4 goals ahead now. Wooo! Or boo! If you preferred Alex. I was also horrifically fouled tonight resulting in me face planting the floor and now I have a fat lip, a bump on my chin and a grazed knee. Bad times for my body and for any fans of my body.
Final whistle here, that's a piece of football nomenclature right there.
