Spam spam spam - Alex
Spam spam spam spam, spammity spam. Spam is a fairly well established item of edible goods. Everyone knows what it is (well sort of). What I mean is that everyone knows that spam is tinned "meat" of unknown origin (it's actually pork and ham) which helped win WW2 for the Allies. Maybe not everyone knows the last bit either, but everyone should know it. It may not have helped win the war completely by itself, gun explosives and no small amount of tactical savvy inevitably aided the war effort too. But Spam (and other food stuffs, but mainly spam because it keeps well) was shipped the the Soviet Union in order to help them feed their hungry soldiers. Because there were plenty of well fed Soviet soldiers Germany were forced to fight a war on two fronts and hence were too stretched to succeed. Not only is that the beauty of spam but also the positive effect of hours on end of history revision. Anyway, spam. I had never ever eaten spam. I felt like I was missing out so my Papa purrrr chased a tin of spam and together we created a spam fritter. One deep fried (in a beer batter using Stella) slice of spam went down a treat. Now for the main event I get a spam and cheese sammich and then, using the let over batter, I'm thinking of whipping up a deep fried mars bar. Booyakasha.
