After awaking from a nap inspired through boredom more than tiredness I decided to drag my body upstairs and write my blog for today, my main motivation being the fear of Paddy's disapproval were I to commit the cardinal sin of forgetting to post on my allotted day. Upon starting up my laptop and loading up alexnpaddy I thought that my eyes deceived me, but several page refreshes later I gleefully accepted that Paddy had forgotten to post yesterday. Not even his trademark "better late than never approach" of posting after midnight but before he goes to sleep. The reason that I am happy that the previously infallible Patrick has forgotten to blog is that it shows him that if even he is capable of not posting on his day for 2 running days then he must let me, the inferior human being, off for my previous blogging sins.
On a secondary note today Patrick is at a theme park (I was invited but declined) and whilst enjoying his day out we enjoyed a phone call at a time when a phone call would not typically be initiated. You see, Paddy was about to get onto a water ride, and as I'm sure you were taught as a child, water and electronics do not often cross to positive outcomes. However his phone is waterproof so I enjoyed (term used loosely) a 5 minute phone call full of wind noises and awkward ride commentary. None the less it gave me a paragraph of content for you slimey little so and so's though.
