Freedom- Paddy
Martin Luther King Jr once said "we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom." I know he was talking about equal rights for black people in America, and in no way wish to trivialise his words. That said, today I worked for my freedom, but at a desk and not with my back straight. You see, today I finished the last of my A-Level exams. I am now free for the summer, with nothing to hinder my relaxation and what not. That is until August, obviously, when my results are published and may either make or break my life. Unfortunately, due to the subjects I took and the timetabling of various exams, I am the first of my friends to have finished. Many of my other friends have Chemistry, Biology or English Exams, lasting all the way until Friday. Until then, I just have to sit around the house. Tomorrow I'm going to have massive fun sorting my college work into piles to keep or discard. On Wednesday I am going to buy myself some shorts, because I'm crazy like that, and I need another pair for my upcoming holiday in Crete. Such exciting plans with my new freedom.
