Euro 2012- Paddy

Today, Euro 2012 kicked off. In fact it kicked off 45 minutes ago. I intend to watch an awful lot of it, especially once my exams are over. Alex and I are both part of a sweepstake, and we each have 2 teams in it. I have Croatia and Ukraine (both awful picks) and Alex has England and France (slightly better picks than mine). Neither of us has much hope of winning the jackpot.
It is now halftime in the opening fixture, a game between Poland (the joint hosts) and Greece (not the joint hosts). It has been quite a good game. Poland, who were underdogs and the worst ranked team going into this tournament, are currently leading 1-0 after a header from Lewandowski. Greece then had a player sent off for two dubious yellow cards, which presumably is the icing on the cake that is this delightful year for Greece. What with the collapse of their economy and all.
In other news, I have glasses now. Here is a picture of me and my glasses.
Don't I look handsome and intellectual?
