Well, instead of being able to regale of the glorious return of the Young Boys, as I had planned to tonight, I can not. Unfortunately, our opponents were not prepared to do battle of the 5-a-side pitch and thus our game has been postponed to next week.
On the plus side, this has freed up my evening and has enabled me to attend a screening of The Dark Knight Rises for the second time. I am very excited. Coincidentally, Alex is also seeing TDKR tonight (for the first time due to his Africa shenanigans), but with a different group of people. Isn't that a crazy, crazy thing? Well, its not that crazy, but I don't care because I get to see Batman again. YEAH.
On a completely unrelated note, Team GB won their first and second gold medals at the Olympics. First was in the women's double sculls rowing, which was nice. Second was the man of the moment, Tour de France winner, Bradley Wiggins in the men's time trial. He is good a cycling. Today's medal haul has boosted Team GB to 10th in the medal table as of when I had a shufti earlier. That is far more respectable.
