Results Night- Paddy

Yesterday was my results day. I got BBC and got into Leicester, so that was pretty swell. To celebrate this event I went to a nightclub in a nearby town called Jaxx. To clarify, the club is called Jaxx, not the town. Last time I went to Jaxx it was a Friday night and on a Friday night Jaxx has "£1.50 night". Despite that being an awkward price, it does mean the drinks are very cheap and this makes it easy to get drunk. However, last night was obviously a Thursday. Thursday is not "£1.50 night". This meant it was quite expensive for drinks. A bottle of beer was £4 and a Jagerbomb was £3.50, an extortionate amount for either of those drinks. It also cost me a fiver to get in and a fiver for the taxi home. So, by the end of the night, I'd spent roughly £30 in total and would be described as "tipsy" or "rambunctious" at best. It was slightly underwhelming is what I'm saying. I did, however, have a very nice burger at a kebab shop at the station whilst I waited for my taxi. So that was a positive part of my night.
