It is like a post-apocalyptic wasteland for content on this blog. It has been a whopping 8 days since somebody last did a post on here. That is a long ole time for you guys to go without a healthy dose of Paddy, and a slightly less healthy dose of Alex. You can put an end to your withdrawal symptoms now as I am back! Huzzah! Alex unfortunately is not back for another couple of weeks because his trip away is far more constructive and life changing than my week in Crete.
Speaking of which, I should probably tell you some details of said trip to Crete. There was heat. There was sun. There was mini-golf. There was a rather nice cocktail with a straw that was about 2ft long. There was a beach. There was a pool. There was a lot of reading next to said pool. There was a Greek beer called Alpha, or άλφα if you're Greek. There was grilled meats. There were crazy motorists.
From that list of things there were, I'm sure you are not really any the wiser as to what my holiday was like. To me that seems like it could just be a list of random phrases and things. Ah well. It's not like anyone's going to see this. I'm pretty sure our last 4 readers will have given up during the 8 day black out.
