Early Start- Paddy

Tomorrow I have to get up at 5.50 am, which is a stupid time. This is because I am going on holiday to Crete for a week, and, obviously, this means I will not be online and blogging for you until next Tuesday most likely, at which point I will tell you all about it. Earlier a friend of mine asked me to pick her up from Guildford tonight at 2am, due to the fact she is clubbing there. I said no. I'm going to be needing more sleep than the 3 hours that would allow me. In fact, as soon as I finish this here blog post I am going to go to bed. This will allow me a whole 7 hours of sleep, which should just about see me through to the plane journey, at which point I can snooze again. I'm not even sure why I have to get up so early, my flight doesn't leave until like 10.30 or something reasonable like that. Its all the airports fault, being all scared of terrorism in this post 9-11 world and making people spend an unreasonable amount of time in duty free between checking in and departure. As if that 2 to 3 hour wait is going to stop a terrorist from terroristing. They might decide to just buy cheap cigars and alcohol rather than exploding. Maybe the wait is a good thing then, it saves lives.
