This could be the end - Alex

Yesterday Patrick said that this may well be my last ever blog, the thing is, I'd be fine with that. Not for the reason he gave, I'd be much less fine about killing myself. I just wouldn't be very distraught if, for some reason or another, I was forced/asked/gently nudged to give up blogging. In the least melodramatic way possible, blogging bores me and I get very little out of it now-a-days. Initially the blog showed potential, then alexnpaddy demonstrated some genuine growth and the development of a stable readership, but alas, now, in the style made popular by HMS Titanic, we are sinking without a trace. Setting 15 minutes aside every other day feels like a strain, and even when I do sit down to write a post I get far too easily distracted. I will keep on blogging though, as it's too much effort to stop. But don't be too surprised if, come the start of thick exam season, I take a hiatus or even an indefinite break. Having said that, no one would care.
